SUMMARY

Responsible for the following:

  • Develop and nurture referent relationships
  • Business Development special projects as assigned
  • Supports the SVP of BD in development of company growth strategy
  • Industry intelligence
  • Company ambassador
  • Clinical and community liaison

DUTIES/EXPECTATIONS:

  • Develops and manages designated territory with the goal of maximizing the ILN services to meet and/or exceed ILN’s census goals.
  • Supports the VP of Business Development on special projects as assigned to promote ILN growth, this may include but not limited to new program offerings.
  • Supports colleagues in Outreach with warm introductions and/or working collaboratively with them to engage with referents outside assigned territory.
  • Work in partnership with the admissions and clinical department to assist them in facilitating admissions and providing appropriate referrals.
  • Lead business development activities in select geographic markets, including cultivating and maintaining referent relationships, special events, representation at industry events, etc.
  • Manage conference marketing in designated region (s)
  • Provide industry intel and feedback regarding market perceptions of the organization.
  • Develop and implement regional strategic sales and marketing plan to support the overall growth of the business.
  • Willing to travel as needed throughout the year to promote the organization.
  • Proficient in computer software including but not limited to Salesforce, Excel, Word, EMR system.
  • Represent organization in a professional manner at conferences.
  • Coordinate and host referral source visits.
  • Develops understanding of program offerings and competent understanding of mental health and substance use disorders substance abuse, including trends in treatment locally and nationally.
  • Promotes organization to all referral sources through face-to-face contacts within the defined geographic target areas. Implements plans and programs to meet customer needs and increase awareness of services to maximize utilization.
  • Educate referral community on when it is appropriate to refer to the organization.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical staff to ensure consistent delivery of service. Communicates frequently with therapists and admissions staff to meet or exceed service expectations.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report referral trends, utilization and referral source/customer satisfaction.
  • Reports any operational issues to operations team to ensure outstanding client/customer service.
  • Initiates and collaborates on complaint resolution plan with appropriate staff. Follows up on internal and external problems to ensure rapid solutions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES/EXPECTATIONS:

  • Maintain customer relationship database utilizing salesforce.com. This includes ensuring that contact information is current, all professionals are properly linked to potential and actual clients, and that relevant notes are entered. It is expected that salesforce.com be utilized daily.
  • Attendance and participation in professional staff meetings
  • Maintain exceptional level of customer service; address and resolve complaints; serve as an example by providing excellent service to internal and external customers, employees and patients
  • Provides referrals for continuing care
  • Provides weekly updates on activities and completes other projects as requested
  • Performance in relation to ethics and professionalism

General Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of business development experience within mental/behavioral health.
  • Good organizational skills: ability to prioritize workload and work independently.
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in marketing, business development or healthcare related.
  • Overall performance and competence in terms of consistency with education, training, and experience are reflective of current standards of practice/care. Must comply with drug-free workplace guidelines.

  • Must be willing to travel 25% of the time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
