Medical Receptionist Naturopathic Medicine
Our integrative health clinic has an opening to begin training in May for an industrious and professional naturopathic medical receptionist. Our goal is to establish a self-motivated, self-affirmed team member in the art of caring for people, and a passion for naturopathic medicine. This is not a medical assistant position. This is a customer service front desk with administrative duties position.

Our goal is to establish a self-motivated, self-affirmed team member in the art of caring for people, and a passion for naturopathic medicine. This is not a medical assistant position. This is a customer service front desk with administrative duties position.

The office is open Monday through Friday. Must have reliable transportation.
The successful candidate will perform various administrative and patient service tasks including:
- Greeting patients;
- Answering phones;
- Scheduling new and current patients;
- Making reminder calls;
- Checking patients in and out of the office;
- Addressing patient emails;
- Unpacking orders;
- Sorting mail;
- Managing orders of supplements;
- Lab kits, and office supplies, and handling drop ship orders to patients.
Requirements:
- Must be proficient in standard business and office applications; i.e. Word, Quick Books, Email, EMR (Practice Fusion) is an added benefit;
- Ability to provide written and video content for a blog, social media, and live stream events a plus, but not required;
- The ideal candidate will be open to assisting the Naturopathic Medical Assistant, high energy, patient, friendly, compassionate, positive, punctual, proactive, and extremely detail-oriented, and like to work with the public;
- Experience with supplement sales and in a cash-based medical practice is a plus;
- To be suitable for the job, applicants should align with a healthy, ecologically-aware lifestyle and be aware of Naturopathic Medicines.
Hours:
- Full time: M, W, Th, F: 9:30 am-5:30 pm and 10-1 on Tuesdays;
- Training will begin in-office in May;
- Hybrid: in-office in Claremont, CA 91711 and remote;
- Lunch daily: 1:15 pm-2:15 pm.

Wages:
- $15-$18/ hour based on experience in a cash-based practice and with Naturopathic Medicine.
Additional Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation and be punctual;
- Knowledge of Naturopathic Medicine preferred;
- Medical office experience a must, preferably 2 years of reception;
- Excellent people skills and ability to work with patients with compassion;
- Dynamic personality and positive attitude;
- Professional appearance, speech, and attire;
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Higher degree coursework preferred;
- Familiarity with the basic philosophies of Natural Medicine and various modalities offered;
- Must have excellent English language skills, both written and verbal;
- Ability to multitask and handle a busy work environment;
- Although we try to have a set schedule, flexibility will be necessary to help cover vacations.
