Integrated Renovations is Hiring a Construction Project Schedule Manager Near Richardson, TX

Description

Position Summary

The Project Schedule Manager will have a strong technical background and a specialization in construction schedule development and risk analysis with vast experience in large ground up construction projects. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed project schedules, understanding project scope, and proactively managing risks. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of our multifamily construction projects from inception to completion.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field preferred 
  • Proven track record in project management, particularly schedule development and risk analysis 
  • Minimum 10 years of industry work experience, with at least 8 years of experience in project management or project engineering in large ground up construction projects required 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams to success
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferred Certifications: EIT, CCM, TXDOT, AASHTO, PMP, LEED, ICC, ACI or CMIT

Success Factors/Job Competencies:

  • Create comprehensive project plans by verifying project scope, deliverables and identifying the required sources while adhering to budget constraints 
  • Collaborate with Pre-Construction and Production Departments to review project plans and proposals, working together to create project schedules and milestones aligned with project objectives 
  • Oversee, coordinate, and schedule the technical aspects of the project, with guidance from the Pre-Construction and Production Departments, to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of the project.
  • Review, evaluate and monitor the cost, schedule and technical scope baseline, creating milestones and adjusting plans as necessary
  • Develop a comprehensive risk framework to identify, assess, transfer and mitigate risks as part of the project planning process
  • Determine lead times and lag times for project tasks to create realistic and achievable project schedules 
  • Schedule resources and trade partners essential for the efficient execution of the project, ensuring optimal resource utilization 
  •  Prepare project status reports and provide data to management for reporting purposes, keeping all stakeholders informed about project progress. 
  • Knowledge and understanding of all phases of construction materials, construction sequencing, equipment and techniques 
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications 
  • Monthly travel required
  • Proficient in project management software’s: MS Projects, Primavera P6, Asta, Sage 300, Viewpoint, Procore or related software 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite-Excel, Word and Outlook
