Production Helper Job Description

Primary Job Function

This entry-level position assists in any or all phases of fabrication,assembly and finishing,providing the employee withthe opportunity to learn specialized skills and transition to more advanced job positions.

Note: This position operates on Day Shift (6:00am – 2:30pm)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Follows departmen standard operating procedures.· Typically works as needed in various work areas:o Shearo Deburro Hardwareo Tap/Drill/Countersinko CNC Puncho Shaking parts/loading blanks/deburro Manual 30/30o Punch; pre-setup machineo Forming; pre-setup machine,· Deburr/DA/Grind/Grain to cosmetic finishes· Mask/Unmask· Load/Unload baskets and racks· Assists in Assembly and Packaging· Follows established safety protocols including required usage of PPE; helps to maintain a safe working environment· Keeps work area clean and organized· Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

Minimum skills, knowledge, education, certifications and related job experience that employee typically must have to perform essential functions of the job acceptably.

• Basic math and measurement skills

• Blueprint reading skills a plus

• Strong hand/eye coordination

• Strong desire to learn assigned operations

• Hand truck operation

• Pallet-jack operation

• Strong attention to detail

• Dependability; honesty & integrity; a positive, proactive attitude; ability to use time productively, working with minimal supervision both individually and as part of a team.

• Ability to work overtime as required

You should be proficient in:

• Deburring Experience
• Shop Math Skills
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment

Salary info:

$17 - $18 / hr
