We are a podiatrist office looking to hire a Medical Assistant who is a highly skilled multitasker performing all job functions as required in support of a busy practice supporting 2 providers. Possess the drive and ability to participate in providing high quality health care to our valued patients.May be involved in both the clinical and administrative areas including assisting physicians with patient care and handling clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinical services. 

Essential Functions:

• Greeting Patients in a Professional & Friendly Manor
• Coordinating Patient Flow
• Entering Patient Insurance and Demographics
• Communicates to both doctors and patients using appropriate medical terminology.
• Take a thorough detailed chief complaint, past medical history, social history.
• Scribe objective and plan portion of encounter note at doctor’s direction.
• Assist physicians with minor in office procedures.
• Educate patients on conditions and treatments.
• Maintain inventory, supplies, equipment, and sterilization of instruments.
• Clean and sterilize rooms in a thorough and prompt manner.
• Will support and cover for other staff members as may be requested.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Familiarity with EHR and medical terminology required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience working as a medical assistant
• Friendly and compassionate disposition
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Dedication to maintaining confidentiality of all patient records

Full-Time at 32 hours/week. Off on Wednesday's.
