Software Engineer

Clearance: Active Secret

Location: Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD

Support the U.S. Army Product Manager Electronic Warfare Integration (PdM EWI) the design, build, integration, testing, delivery, fielding, maintenance, configuration management, and sustainment of the Electronic Warfare Planning and Management Tool (EWPMT). Responsible for designing and coding EWPMT software.

Responsibilities

· Applies computer science concepts and principles in the development of software for the applicable applications

· Designs, develops, integrates, and tests software for applications to meet system level requirements

· Manages large complex projects through software design, development, and test

Qualifications

Required:

· Bachelors degree in computer science or similar or a STEM degree.

· 2-5 years of software programming experience.

· PMP Certified

· Minimum of Secret (S) clearance

· Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C , Python, or Java.

· Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.

· Experience with Software Planning (Development Plan, Build Plan, Sprint Plans)

· Familiarity with developing software to meet cybersecurity related software requirements/constraints

· Familiarity with network architectures and communication protocols

· High level of familiarity with software patterns and modern design methodology

Preferred:

· Experience with the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit

· Experience with Visual Studio

· Experience with Open-Source libraries and documentation
