SUMMARY:

An automation company specializing in clean-sheet design and build of custom automation machinery is looking for an Electro-Mechanical Technician. Full-time with benefits. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support Operations
Lean Manufacturing (5S)
Build, Assemble, and Troubleshoot Mechanical and Electrical equipment
Shop Organization and Housekeeping
Shop Safety
EXPERIENCE & KEY SKILLS:
EDUCATION & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED:
Must be open minded, energetic and able to work under pressure
Must be able to learn quickly and retain information
Must be able to work well individually as well as in a team
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, PP, Excel, etc...)
Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations
DESIRED:
Overall shop experience
Electro-mechanical experience and knowledge of manufacturing methods and assembly techniques
Experience with set-up, troubleshooting, testing and debugging of different types of machinery
Knowledge of electrical systems
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications (Electrical and Mechanical)
SolidWorks and AutoCAD exposure
Milling, and Lathe experience a plus
PLC experience a plus
EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
Tech School Degree or other related education a plus, but not required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift 20 lbs
Ability to move around office building and upstairs
Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers
