Logistics Coordinator

Pay Rate / Range : $18.85

Hours : 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.

Location : New York, NY

Key Responsibilities :

Shipment Management :

Manage shipment scheduling and tracking updates using Monday.com and other tracking platforms.

• Prepare and report on logistics reports and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Ensure vendor compliance adherence and provide compliance onboarding and training.

Supply Chain Management :

• Purchase new supplies, foster relationships with vendors, and leverage bulk discounts to cut costs.
• Schedule supply deliveries and forecast demand to vendors to minimize slowdowns in the production process.
• Coordinate with local mailrooms and in-office operations.

Required Skills and Abilities :

• Strong computer skills, including extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High level of attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Resourceful and able to obtain necessary information effectively.
• Ability to analyze data and trends, making educated conclusions based on the data.
• Team player who embraces teamwork and shares ideas / methods to improve performance.
• Proven verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize work activities, plan, and stay organized.
• Capable of managing timelines and dealing effectively with the challenges of a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and deadlines.
• Takes independent action, works autonomously, and seeks increased responsibilities.

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven experience in logistics support, preferably within a high-volume distribution center or large retail operation.
• Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) preferred.
