ABOUT INSTRUCTIONAL ABA CONSULTANTS (IABA)

We provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to children and adults who have a diagnosis of autism. We use several different approaches to ABA therapy, including precision teaching, discrete trial teaching (DTT), and naturalistic instruction. Our team is extremely proud of the fact that all of our clients have seen progress with our therapies. We built our practice on the belief that all individuals with disabilities have a right to quality, effective, and affordable services. We are dedicated to closing the funding gap and deeply committed to providing the best services for each individual we serve. We strongly believe that to have a disability does not mean to be disadvantaged. Financial resources do not affect access to quality care at our clinics. We truly serve the under-served.

Our company is owned and operated by BCBAs with experience who focus on ethics and quality of services. Our clinicians handle manageable caseloads and work flexible hours from home and on-site. We value work-life harmony and self-care. There are opportunities for growth within our company as well as the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues to create ongoing professional development programs.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BOARD-CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST (BCBA)

As a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, you play a fundamental role in our practice. You develop research-based and individualized behavior analytical programming for children with autism. Your caseload includes a variety of ages, repertoires, and funding source requirements. You do assessments and write treatment plans. To ensure progress, you make data-based program change decisions on a weekly basis. You also develop, implement, and monitor parent goals.

As you administer initial and ongoing assessments under supervision, you gain mastery of a variety of protocols, such as ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, and Vineland. You write treatment plans based on the results of assessments that effectively target short- and long-term goals, generalization, and community integration. You also work in partnership with the families you serve and other service providers.

You also collaborate on a weekly basis with our team of BCBAs to create an environment of ongoing professional development. Related activities include a peer program review, a human rights committee, reviewing the literature, ethical discussions, and case consultations. You find working with individuals with autism in this collaborative environment to be highly rewarding!
