**Job Description**

Eagle Automation is looking for a **self-motivated**, ambitious **team-player** to fulfill a key **Business Development** role in the **Rocky Mountain Region.** Eagle's differentiated business model and talented team successfully propelled the company through the Oil and Gas downturn and seeks an individual that wants to contribute to the next stage of growth. This sales role will allow the candidate to leverage Eagle's differentiated business model to rapidly grow sales in the **DJ Basin/Rocky Mountain** region.

**Responsibilities**

The Business Development Manager will be **focused on obtaining new customers** **across the DJ Basin**. The applicant will be responsible for leading sales efforts, developing new relationships and securing new business from targeted accounts for the Company. After onboarding and ensuring customer success, those customers will be transitioned to account managers, allowing continued focus on penetrating new accounts. The candidate must be able to articulate to both business and technical users how our technology solutions can best meet our customers' needs. The applicant must also be able to draft quotes and proposals and utilize a return-on-investment calculator to secure new business.

Additional responsibilities would include utilizing the Eagle ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and Contact Relationship Management (CRM) systems effectively to track leads, produce quotes, and convert quotes to sales orders. The position would require frequent open communication with the VP of Sales, Operations Manager, inside sales, and the rest of the Eagle team. The candidate sought would excel in a fast-paced environment, be able to quickly learn the technical nature of our product portfolio, stay organized, and understand the needs of our rapidly growing customer base.

This role will **directly report the Sales Director**. Due to the importance of this role, the applicant will have **direct interaction and mentorship from Eagle's high-energy and experienced senior leadership team**. The position is based out of Eagle's **Greeley, CO** office.

**Job Duties**:

- Prospect, qualify, develop, and win new customers

- Work closely with the senior management team to manage and develop relationships with target customers

- Conduct research to identify the highest quality customers to target

- Manage full sales-lifecycle from prospecting to initial meetings, and customer proposals and quotes through opportunity close

- Maintain open and timely communication with the head of sales regarding sales leads, market dynamics, competitive activity and other relevant issues

- Utilize ERP and CRM systems to maintain communication records, create quotes and sales orders

- Ensure customer satisfaction

- Learn and incorporate new products, service capabilities, sales tactics, tools, and processes

- Shape marketing plan for the newly developed solutions

**Required Qualifications:**

* Proven sales success of technology solutions to upstream O&G customers, with 3 years of experience

* Proven success at penetrating new accounts

* Proficient at using CRM systems

* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint

* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

* Highly self-motivated and disciplined

* Team player

* Strong networking skills

* Excellent organizational skills

**Desired Qualifications**

* Experience with NetSuite ERP and CRM

* Experience in wellsite oil and gas automation and measurement

* Experience with managed services and/or SaaS solutions

* Background of proven technical aptitude

* Has an existing network of oil and gas professionals

**Compensation:**
