The Institute for Systems Biology (ISB) is an internationally renowned non-profit research institute dedicated to the study and application of systems biology. We are seeking an IT Director to lead a stellar team of professionals and to provide strategic oversight of the department. This includes responsibility for all IT operations including planning, procurement, systems, servers, network and telephones, end user support, high performance computing, AV, and research and enterprise computing.

The Director of IT is responsible for hiring and evaluating the performance of IT staff and for their professional development.
Required Education, Skills & Experience:
All ISB staff members are expected to have baseline technical skills and the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately over email, the intranet/forum, etc. Employees should be able to use Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint at a functional level.

Position is in a typical office environment with no adverse environmental conditions expected. Regularly requires sitting for extended periods. Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Frequently required to communicate with others using voice and hearing to exchange information. Regularly requires repeating motions that may include hands, wrist, or fingers (e.g. using a computer keyboard and mouse). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
Work location may be on-site in Seattle's South Lake Union neighborhood, or hybrid. Free parking and/or ORCA pass provided.

Pay Range: $125,520-$225,940
