InstiTech is Hiring a Maintenance Tech Near Waukesha, WI

Are you a skilled and reliable maintenance mechanic who can keep equipment in top condition? If so, we want you to join our team!

These full-time positions are based in Waukesha, WI and offer competitive pay starting at $25 per hour for entry level - with an additional shift premiums if you work 2nd or 3rd shift. Pay is based on experience for skilled candidates up to $40 per hour.
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you'll be responsible for keeping all production machinery in a "ready for service" condition, performing preventative maintenance as scheduled, and addressing day-to-day maintenance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain all plant machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating difficulties
  • Complete minor electrical work such as motor replacement, fuse replacement, switches, etc.
  • Ensure plant organization and cleanliness

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in maintenance work
  • Basic knowledge and skills in pneumatics, electrical, mechanics, hydraulics, rigging, equipment installation, machine rebuilding, motor & drive alignment, measuring equipment & fabrication
  • Ability to read blueprints and familiarize yourself with all plant equipment and procedures
  • Proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking
  • Safety-focused mindset
