POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Technical Business Analyst, it is critical to facilitate clear communication and direction between business end-users and development teams to ensure we are delivering the right solutions at the right time.

As a member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in identifying, improving, and developing technology solutions that drive our strategic goals. This individual will work with the business teams to identify requirements, prioritize the work, and work with technology teams to define technical solutions and ensure agile processes and practices are followed. The Technical Business Analyst drives Agile frameworks that result in quality product delivery and continuous improvement. They embrace agility as a practice and are responsible for removing impediments that hinder the team from reaching their goals with a flexible approach that enables the team to rapidly respond to changes.

The candidate must exhibit a thorough understanding of user requirements, data platforms, and process automation that is necessary for the data flow analysis for end-to-end solutions. Working at the intersection of business and technology, you'll sharpen your understanding of business processes and data analysis while continuing to develop your leadership, management, and communication skills.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

• Support daily issue troubleshooting and handle the second-tier escalations
• Gather business requirements and compared them to the existing software capabilities, ability to create gap analysis, and drive the gaps to closure.
• Hands-on business analysis activities such as requirement gathering, project planning, and execution.
• Designing, preparing, and obtaining approval of system and programming documentation.
• Develop, or assist in the development of end-user training materials and coordinate / conduct user training.
• In partnership with the development teams, perform functional testing of system enhancements/changes resulting from the work effort.
• Ensure data quality and integrity across all systems.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• BS/BE, Business Administration, Information Systems or Computer Science
• 5 years of experience in delivering IT requirements.
• Proven experience working in agile methodology & demonstrated the ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced work environments.
• Strong team collaboration, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to resolve issues collaboratively without escalations.
• Must have great analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of process analysis, understanding of workflows, process documentation, and principles.
• Strong organizational skills along with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet the business need.
• Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Detail-oriented, multi-tasking, self-directed, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Desired but not required:

• Knowledge of industry tools such as Origami or WordPress
• Knowledge of SQL or JavaScript
• Experience in managing software-related projects from initiation through product delivery within an IT environment.
• Proficiency in change management methodologies, best practices, tools, and techniques applied in internal initiatives.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Sitting for extended period is common
• Hearing, vision and speaking within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents
• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds without assistance
• Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer keyboard, calculator, copier fax machine, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $88,032.00 - $94,163.00 per year
