Who You Are: An ambitious, compassionate caregiver. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of 6 months experience in an assisted living and/or memory care/dementia community is preferred. A valid CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, but not required.

Summary/Objective
Care Partner provides routine care to our residents in a manner conducive to their comfort and safety. In accordance with federal, state and local regulations and within the established policies and procedures of the Community. Care Partners carry out the assigned clinical duties by the Health & Wellness Director, Executive Director, or other assigned supervisor to assure that the highest degree of quality compassionate resident care is maintained at all times. Care Partners are customer service experts who interact with leadership, families, vendors, guests, and other associates while displaying exceptional professionalism.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift or move objects and patients weighing over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
The noise level is moderate to quiet. Because the essential functions may require exposure to bodily functions and infectious waste, diseases, odors and other situations associated with health care, including but not limited to exposure to AIDS, HIV and Hepatitis B viruses involving Risk Classification Categories 2 and 3**, environmental and safety conditions will fluctuate. To be qualified for the position of Care Partner, an applicant/employee will need to possess the ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for residents without posing a substantial safety or health threat to ones self or others.
