We are seeking a skilled and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our team. Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary information
- Assist with scheduling and coordinate with other healthcare providers as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record systems.
- Handle patient inquiries, provide information about dental procedures, and address concerns or complaints
- Process payments, handle billing inquiries, and maintain financial records
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient care
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role in a medical office setting
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is required
- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with front desk operations including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and billing procedures
