• Identifying performance test environment requirements and collaborating with the infrastructure, network operations, environment, and release teams to set up the environment for effective SLA measurements.
• Providing professional project planning, estimation, non-functional test approaches, technical test solutions, issue/risk management, and results/analysis in keeping with organization's standards.
• Managing performance testing lifecycle, including the development of test strategy, impact assessment, test plan, test execution (manual and automation), test report, and quality assurance.
• Creating performance test use cases and test scenarios within the defined scope.
• Developing data-driven test scripts and executing performance and load testing of applications.
• Building modular automated performance test scripts for web-based and mobile applications utilizing SOA design and APIs in a continuous integration environment and providing
remediation plans.
• Researching new ways of performance testing and recommending system configuration and tuning improvements based on observations.
• Taking ownership of the non-functional test solution from project initiation to final acceptance, with responsibility for each NFT milestone within the cycle.
• Coordinating with 3rd party vendors, contract developers, and/or partners as required.
• Leading and coordinating a technical team of 8 – 10 members, depending on project performance delivery requirements.
• Developing functional automation test cases for customer interactive performance testing.
• Uplifting peer testing, regression testing, and automation skills.
• Contributing to the Enterprise Performance roadmap.
• Creating knowledge management-related deliverables such as tools related processes and procedures.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field plus 7 years of related experience. Requires 7 years of experience in all of the following skills: Performance testing environment setup and SLA measurement; Performance testing lifecycle management and quality assurance; Developing data-driven test scripts and carrying out performance and load testing; System configuration and tuning for performance optimization; Working with multiple automation and profiling test tools, both standard and open-source; Developing functional automation test cases; and Regression testing and automation.
Telecommuting permitted.
