Title: Manager, Information Technology
Reports To: SVP, Technology
Location: Denver, CO
IT Manager at Inspirato is a dynamic "player-coach" who not only leads but also actively engages in the day-to-day technical operations, project management, and problem resolution. This pivotal role is instrumental in supporting the company’s core business operations, significantly enhancing the
customer experience, driving technological innovation, and boosting employee productivity. As a hands-on leader, the IT Manager ensures that the team performs at its peak while strategically aligning IT initiatives with broader business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
IT Operations Management:
  • Direct and actively participate in daily operations to ensure reliability and security of servers, networks, databases, applications, and corporate facilities.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies and practices to ensure robust system security and operational efficiency.
  • Proactively manage IT systems to prevent issues and swiftly resolve any disruptions.
Service Desk Management:
  • Lead the IT service desk, guaranteeing efficient resolution of technical issues and service requests.
  • Enhance service desk operations with effective tools and processes, continuously improving service quality through precise metrics and performance monitoring.
  • Lead by example, actively participating in service desk operations during peak periods or critical incidents.
Corporate Infrastructure Management:
  • Manage maintenance and upgrades of all corporate infrastructure to ensure seamless business operations.
  • Implement strategic upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal impact on daily operations.
Technology Strategy and Planning:
  • Partner with business leaders to align technology solutions with company needs.
  • Craft and execute a forward-looking IT strategy that aligns with company objectives.
  • Assess and integrate emerging technologies to stay ahead of the curve and enhance operational capabilities.
Project Management:
  • Lead and actively contribute to IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet , budget constraints, and quality standards.
  • Employ advanced project management tools and methodologies, while also rolling up sleeves and contributing to project tasks as needed.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
Team Management and Development:
  • Build, mentor, and actively collaborate with a skilled IT team dedicated to excellence and innovation.
  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement and professional development, leading by example through hands-on participation and knowledge sharing.
  • Evaluate team performance regularly, providing feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
Vendor and Supplier Management:
  • Cultivate strong relationships with technology providers and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms.
  • Manage vendor performance to ensure compliance with service agreements and company expectations.
Budget and Resource Management:
  • Develop and oversee the IT budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost management.
  • Plan strategically for future technological expansions to support company growth.
Required Skills
  • Proven track record as an IT Manager with 5 years of experience leading and motivating teams, with a hands-on approach and technical expertise.
  • In-depth, hands-on knowledge of IT infrastructure, including network management, cybersecurity, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), and data center operations.
  • Experience with IT service management (ITSM) methodologies like ITIL, and hands-on experience in incident management and service desk operations.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles with a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget, while actively contributing to project tasks.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • A proactive, results-oriented individual with a dedication to continuous improvement and hands-on involvement.
  • Experience in a high-growth environment, with the ability to adapt and lead through rapid change.

Compensation – $105,000-$135,000 Base Salary

We believe in building a compensation structure that reflects the comparable market pay rate for positions at companies similar in size, revenue generation and geographic location; in addition to individual factors including seniority, performance-based merit, education/training and experience related to scope of responsibilities.

Bonus - This position is eligible for the company's bonus program.

Benefits - This position is eligible for a health and welfare benefits package including medical, dental & vision insurance.

FAM Benefits - This Position is eligible for the Employee Familiarization Travel Program following three (3) consecutive months of employment. This program provides you up to one seven (7) day reservation in an eligible Inspirato property per your employment calendar year – subject to seasonal property demands and the company Employee Familiarization Travel Program Terms and Conditions.
