Inspiration Hills is looking for a skilled LVN to join our awesome team

This position is DOUBLE WEEKEND LVN (SATURDAY & SUNDAY) schedule 6am-10pm

EVERY OTHER WEEKEND

Duties and Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:

The primary purpose of your job is to provide direct nursing care to the residents and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the nursing assistant.

Participate in the development, maintenance & implementation of the facility's quality assurance program for the nursing service department

Monitor your assigned personnel to ensure that they are following established safety regulations in the use of equipment & supplies

Complete & file required recordkeeping forms/charts upon the resident's admission, transfer, and/or discharge

Chart Nurses notes in an informative & descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the resident as well as the resident's response to the care

Prepare & administer medications as ordered by the physician

Make periodic checks to ensure that the prescribed treatments are being properly administered by certified nursing assistants & to evaluate the resident's physical & emotional status

Ensure the residents who are unable to call for help are checked frequently

Review care plans daily to ensure that appropriate care is being rendered

Education:

Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program
