HOW YOU WILL SOAR:
The Reporting Analyst will report to the Sr. Manager, Data Science in the Strategy Department. This role is responsible for helping to building business intelligence through the creation of business insights using technical knowledge. This role will be tasked with creating foundational reports and knowledge for business purposes, which includes using scripting languages to extract data from back-end databases and repositories, creating clear and concise reports, and helping business users understand resulting reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data warehouse structures, SQL and Business Objects reporting platforms to leverage data to create solutions and present data through reports, and dashboards. The candidate will serve as a key business resource to work with internal customers to expand and improve the reporting content. This individual must be able to identify and remove impediments and external distractions, ensure the team has the necessary tools and resources to rapidly respond to change, and create an environment of collaboration to help the team achieve long-term success. Were looking for a self-motivated and highly organized individual with the ability to multitask, collaborate and prioritize in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
Build and maintain complex business reports
Work with other divisions to create a suite of reports that meet regular business needs
Design, create and maintain a report repository that can be accessed by the business
Work directly with internal customers to translate a business need into report requirements
Drive the collection of new data and the refinement of existing data sources to continually improve data quality
Work with internal customers to ensure they understand results and that they have access to additional information when needed

IF YOU HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING, APPLY:
Bachelors Degree
Helpful Majors/Minors/Certifications may include but are not required: Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science
3-5 years of experience
Proficient at independently writing SQL statements
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are essential
Advanced Access and Excel experience
Must be able work effectively across multiple databases with a wide range of reporting tools
Excellent communication skills
Ability to understand and work towards the big picture while also working with IT peers on a very detailed, technical level
Analytic experience a plus
Ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple projects concurrently
