Learn more at insightsoftware.com.Job DescriptionThe Lead Technical Project Manager is responsible for leading teams to deliver complex technology projects that span across multiple business units and often have company-wide impact. This role involves managing resources, schedules, financials, and adhering to quality control guidelines. This also includes management of issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.ResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectivesWork creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellenceDevelop and manage estimates, detailed project plans, reports, budgets, schedules, forecasts, timelines status updates, and presentations for all phases of the project including project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues communicating across leadershipParticipate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organizationPromote empowerment of the team, ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution, and encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the teamServe as mentor while promoting the empowerment of the team, ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution, and encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the teamOrganize and lead project status and working meetingsManage changes, risks, actions, issues, and decisions and correct deviations from planHold teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their workLeverage organizational resources to improve capacity for project workSupport Product Owners in managing customer expectations for project deliverablesManage stakeholder communications and help to implement an effective system of project governanceChampion ongoing process improvement initiativesIdentify resource needs for the project and source these resourcesDeliver the project accurately and in accordance with contract termsMaintain project documentation including documented project approvals, meeting minutes, etc.Plan for and monitor project expenditures to ensure they are in line with the budgetKnow and use all key customer resolution tools across all service groups to facilitate rapid resolution of customer concernsMaintain strict confidentialityBe mobile and travel to client locations as neededQualifications Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field or equivalent business experienceA minimum of 5 years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects.A minimum of 3 years of experience working with business and IT stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment.Demonstrated ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal, and presentation) and interpersonal skills.Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.Experience in successfully leading projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule, and within budget close.Experience leading, motivating, and managing various project and program team sizes, including internal and external resources, while holding team accountable for performance.Technological background with understanding and/or hands-on technological experience.High level of agility and ability manage changeAbility to work proactively and constructively in a fast-paced, collaborative, matrixed team environmentCommunication skills; high level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizationsPresentation skills; high degree of comfort with both large and small audiencesPreferred qualificationsPMP or similar certificationExperience with Agile techniques: User Stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated TestingKnowledge of other Agile approaches, like Kanban, and familiarity with traditional project management approachesAdditional Information** At this time insightsoftware is not able to offer sponsorship to candidates who are not eligible to work in the country where the position is located. **Learn more about our high-energy, high-performance global team.
