Job Summary:

We are looking for a staff or senior accountant. The position is open due to Company growth and reports to the Corporate Controller.

Qualifications:

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Candidates with an Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience will be considered.
• Proficient in Excel
• Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including knowledge of depreciation, accrual, pre-paid and revenue recognition
• 2 years of accounting experience
• Ability to work independently, multi-task in a dynamic environment, set priorities and be accountable

Essential Responsibilities:

• Month end procedures and reporting, preparation and posting journal entries
• GL analyses and reconciliations
• Update and maintain the vendor database
• Assist with expense report analysis for billable/non billable travel
• Provide analysis on past due customer accounts and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
• Track existing fixed assets as well as the recording of new fixed assets
• Assist Corporate Controller with weekly cash forecasting
• Assist Director of Financial Reporting with monthly and quarterly reporting
• Assist the Controller and Director of Financial Reporting with the annual financial statement audit
• Special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Attention to Detail- Taking responsibility for a thorough and detailed method of working in a busy work environment.
• Communication - Expressing ideas and opinions clearly in properly structured, well-organized, and grammatically correct reports or documents; utilizing language and terminology that is understandable for the reader. Shaping and expressing ideas and information in an effective manner.
• Initiative - Spotting opportunities within a circle of influence; anticipating threats and acting on them; self-starting rather than waiting passively until the situation demands action.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
