One of Insight Global's clients that is a leading provider of fire protection and security services is in search of a payroll clerk to join their team.

Day to day responsibilities include...

Timecard Data Collection and Processing :

Gather timecard data from the third-party system (specifically, Raken).

Organize and prepare this data for the weekly payroll process.

Employee Payment Processing :

Utilize the Foundation system to process employee data.

Generate the necessary payment templates for JPM Chase to ensure timely and accurate payments to employees.

Certified Payroll Reports :

Regularly compile and create certified payroll reports on a weekly basis.

Tax Management :

Calculate and prepare tax payments according to their respective due dates (weekly, monthly, quarterly, etc.).

When required, complete tax forms such as the 941 and 940 forms.

Third-Party Vendor Payments :

Facilitate weekly payments to third-party vendors, including 401k providers, HSA administrators, and AFLAC.

Employee Financial Transactions :

Administer various financial transactions related to employees, such as garnishments, child support deductions, and reimbursements.

Sales and Use Tax Handling :

Ensure compliance with sales and use tax regulations by managing payments and reporting.

Yearly Responsibilities (W2) :

Prepare and distribute W2 forms to employees annually.

These duties are critical for maintaining accurate financial records, complying with legal requirements, and ensuring employees receive their rightful compensation.

Must Have Requirements :

2 years of payroll experience in the construction industry

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Reliable form of transportation to be in-office 5 days a week
