An employer is seeking an IT Manager to join their team in the Houston, TX area. This person will be managing a team of 7 technicians to support locations in the surrounding area. 90% of their day will be identifying work for task completion and building relationships with stakeholders. The additional 10% will be technical support to assist the team. They will be responsible for system ownership by completing reports, data audits, data assessments, and identifying gaps to make recommendations for the team to complete. In addition, this person will attend regional, state, and technical meetings in collaboration with management. The ideal candidate would come from an IT support role that has moved into a leadership position managing people.
