Title : Install Technician

Duration : 6-month Contract to Hire

Hours : Mon-Fri or Tue -Sat

Location : Aurora, CO

Pay Rate : $20-$26.50 / hr

Summary :

Insight Global is currently looking for a Wireless Installation Technician for a Fortune 500 Electronic Security client in Aurora.

This position requires you to use your own vehicle for travel. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while driving customer loyalty and quality interactions through servicing, programming, configuring, troubleshooting, and converting existing security and site automation solutions - including, but not limited to security, fire and monoxide detection, networking, hosted video solutions, and access control.

Must Haves

• 0-1 years experience with one of the following; CCTV, low voltage, cabling / running cables, installations, technical repairs, or applicable industry experience (security cameras, alarm systems, etc.)
• Current valid State Driver's License and Vehicle
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Must provide own tools including : Folding Ladder, Electric Drill, Screwdrivers, etc. (company provides : drill bits, screws, zip ties, etc.)

Plusses

• Exp with other devices : Network / WiFi in small homes, wires / cabling in residential locations (CATS, CAT6, etc.), phones, tablets, ATMs, printers, etc.
• Customer service experience - Will be speaking with and interacting with customers on a daily basis

Day to Day :

• Drives customer loyalty by exceeding customer's expectations through the system service and maintenance process
• Meets customer commitments by arriving within estimated time of arrival
• Services, programs, configures, dismantles, reconstructs, converts, and trouble-shoots existing security and site automation solutions including, but not limited to, fire and carbon monoxide detection, networking, hosted video solutions, and access control.
• Tests and validates system signals / communication with central monitoring to properly establish service
• Demonstrates the operation and functionality of all provided services to the customer by explaining the proper operation of the technology and services
• Assists customer with security and technology enhancements by effectively identifying additional areas of opportunities and offers solution enhancements or alternatives to increase customer satisfaction.

Suggests innovative and additional solutions to customer to fulfill their security and site automation needs.
