Job Summary

The Human Resources Business Partner is a professional who will coordinate, develop, and manage the implementation of policies and procedures regarding the various areas of HR. This role oversees the recruiting, onboarding processing, employee relations, offboarding, and assists as needed in providing administrative support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support recruiting efforts by conducting intake meetings with hiring manager, source candidates through Indeed and LinkedIn, perform prescreening interviews of potential hires.
  • Review all voluntary resignations, handle exit interviews, track/analyze exit interview data, and work with management as needed to respond to trends in exit data.
  • Develops and analyzes HR metrics to proactively identify trends and partners with HR Leader to develop strategies to address areas of concern.
  • Review all employee disciplinary situations, working with management to ensure fair and appropriate action is being taken and making recommendations as needed regarding HR Policy.
  • Assist in creating and driving programs and initiatives to cultivate the desired culture throughout the organization, acting as a trusted advisor to all levels.
  • Review all performance reviews, provide coaching and feedback to management as needed, and track overdue reviews.
  • Participate in employee investigations, terminations, and resolve employee questions and concerns as a trusted and credible partner.
  • Assist with all HR processes including administration of compensation, benefits, performance management, verification of employment, employee selection or promotion, and pre-employment.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations matters by conducting thorough and objective investigations in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • At least 6 years of experience in Human Resources, including employee relations, talent acquisition, training and development, compensation planning and benefits administration.
  • Professional Certification in HR through HRCI or SHRM highly preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with LinkedIn and Indeed posting and sourcing candidates.
  • Strong working knowledge of labor legislation.
  • Excellent client service skills and ability to partner with multiple, diverse stakeholders.
  • Proactively participates in self-development to continually enhance current skills and build new skills required to excel at current role and prepare for career progression.

Work Environment: This position will work both in an office environment and the production areas, warehouses, of the plant where the working conditions will be variable with temperature extremes, high noise, particulate matter, dust, etc. are common and expected. This position may require the use of personal protective equipment when in these areas and to be able to function normally.
