Service Technician

Location: Gulfstream Aerospace, Savannah, GA

Duration: 12-week project

We are seeking a customer-focused Service Technician with experience troubleshooting common issues with mobile devices and APPLE products. The ideal candidate should have experience with iPhone and iPad setup, mobile device reset and wiping procedures, and iPhone data transfers. The Service Technician must have experience using ServiceNow for ticket management and MDM experience preferred with AirWatch and Verizon. Experience troubleshooting Mac/Apple devices (phones and tablets) is required. The Service Technician will execute End user projects as required and maintain and protect assets and property. The Service Technician must be able to develop relationships with all levels of customers within the business (individual contributor to c-suite) and escalate service problems and issues to the service manager appropriately. The Service Technician must be able to perform PC break/fix onsite and remotely, keeping customer downtime to a minimum.

Requirements

  • Self-directed and organized.
  • Located onsite in Savannah, GA at Gulfstream Aerospace.
  • White glove Deskside experience and Customer focused.
  • Troubleshooting Common issues with mobile devices and APPLE products.
  • Experience with iPhone and iPad Setup.
  • Mobile device reset and wiping procedures.
  • iPhone Data transfers
  • Ticket management experience using ServiceNow.
  • MDM experience preferred: AirWatch, Verizon.
  • Experience troubleshooting Mac/Apple devices (phones and tablets).
  • Experience with SSCM, Asset Management, machine imaging and Citrix preferred.
  • Maintains knowledge of new technologies resulting in continued client satisfaction.
  • Provides first technical support and leadership support. This includes, but is not limited to, responding to questions, assisting with troubleshooting, and determining problems.
  • Ideal candidate must be able to develop relationships with all levels of customers within the business (individual contributor to c-suite).
  • Experience with and troubleshooting Microsoft Teams.
  • Executes End user projects as required.
  • Maintains and protects assets and property. This includes spare parts, loaners, tools and test equipment, as well as equipment that may be provided by Insight’s customers.
  • Escalates service problems and issues to the service manager appropriate.
  • Performs PC break/fix onsite and remotely. This includes, but is not limited to, identifying the problem and determining the most efficient and cost-effective way to resolve the problem, keeping customer downtime to a minimum.
  • Bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and crawl.
