Responsibilities

This position is responsible for facilitating coaching sessions for individuals and groups involved in FICW-GROW Center programming.

The Professional Development Coach will conduct sessions designed to support individuals in achieving professional growth, reaching career milestones, and navigating challenging professional transitions.

This role will assist individuals at various stages of their child welfare careers to include leadership, those seeking to enhance leadership skills, those interested in deepening their knowledge of coaching strategies and those seeking set goals for overall professional growth.

This position will respond to coaching requests from child welfare professionals supporting them in setting and achieving their professional development, advancement, and growth objectives.

Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with individuals focused on professional development, achieving professional growth and advancement, and setting goals for overall professional growth.

Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions to individuals seeking to advance their proficiency in leadership core competencies.

Conduct sessions with individuals and groups seeking to deepen their knowledge of coaching strategies.

Facilitate Learning Communities to foster continuous growth among coaches and individuals in coaching roles.

Develop personalized coaching plans tailored to each person's unique goals and challenges.

Collaborate with individuals to set clear and achievable goals and regularly monitor progress.

Maintain consistent communication through regular check-ins and progress reviews.

Keep accurate records of coaching sessions, progress, and any agreed-upon action items.

Develop and participate in delivery of workshops on leadership development topics.

Offer expertise to internal team of coaches to enhance capabilities in supporting learners.

Assess leadership competencies of individuals through various tools and methods.

Collaborate with other coaches and organizational stakeholders to enhance coaching impact.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two years' experience or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note : or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services or related field. Master's degree preferred.

Two plus years' experience in child welfare, five plus years' experience preferred.

Prior experience as a coach or consultant.

Knowledge of child welfare practices in Florida.

Certification in coaching (e.g., ICF).

Ability to inspire and motivate individuals to unlock their full potential.

Familiarity with adult learning principles and various leadership models and frameworks to provide a solid foundation for coaching.

Proficient in facilitating workshops and group coaching sessions.

Comfortable using various collaboration tools, video conferencing platforms, and online resources.

Comfortable and proficient in conducting virtual coaching sessions and effectively working in a remote environment.

Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively convey leadership principles and strategies.

Ability to build rapport with leaders at all levels and tailor coaching approaches to individual needs.

Commitment to staying updated on the latest leadership trends, coaching methodologies, and industry best practice to bring fresh insight to coaching sessions and overall coaching program.

Strong organizational and time management skills to balance multiple coaching engagements.

Committed to ethical standards, integrity, and confidentiality in coaching relationships.

Other Information

Schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm.

This position is remote eligible.

Anticipated Salary Range

Anticipated salary range is low $50,000's, commensurate with education and experience.
