Insero Talent Solutions is Hiring a Litigation Associate Near Rochester, NY

Our Client:

This client is a growing mid-sized law firm with several locations throughout New York state. They are looking for a Litigation Associate Attorney to join their Litigation Practice group. This is an in-office position in downtown Rochester, NY. Salary is in the $100-140k range, with room at the top for the right individual. The company is known for taking care of its employees with an excellent benefits package, 401K, and a people-first environment. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.

You'll have experience representing clients in court, arbitration, and mediation and bring expertise in drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, and arguing motions. What To Expect As a Litigation Attorney:

  • Manage all aspects of litigation cases including drafting pleadings, motions and other legal documents
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process
  • Keep abreast of relevant legal developments and case law to ensure the highest level of representation for clients

Qualifications For Success:

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the Bar in the State of NY
  • 2 years experience practicing litigation law at a law firm or in-house counsel
  • Labor and employment law experience is a plus
  • Experience representing clients in litigated matters in state and federal trial and appellate courts
  • Strong litigation skills including expertise in drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, and arguing motions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Take pride in submitting work products of a high standard
  • Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client service excellence
