Insane Impact is Hiring a Field Supervisor Near Des Moines, IA
Insane Impact is the national leader of Mobile LED screen trailers and video wall installation. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and working alongside field personnel to install indoor and outdoor LED video wall applications to ensure safe and successful installations occur for the customer.
Job Summary
You will be supervising and constructing and installing LED video walls and scoreboards onsite. The job site, location and time spent onsite will vary but most projects last a few days. You will be working on the job with several other company team members and contractors.
Job Description/Duties
- Supervisor technicians at job sites to ensure projects are completed safely, on-time and up to company standards.
- Mentor and educate technicians to grow their skills
- Conduct site visits to identify all details needed for a successful installation, if needed.
- Verify project’s materials before shipping to field location from Des Moines warehouse
- Ensure spec sheets, inventory, BOM, process is correct before arrival on-site.
- Work with independent contractors, rental companies, and third-party vendors to ensure the appropriate equipment and staff are available onsite
- Assist Project Managements as one of the onsite representatives of the team
- Communicate dates, timelines, etc. with customers as well as provide excellent customer service to the end-user from planning phase to completion.
- Execute construction and build out of LED walls, structural modifications, production equipment and rack commissioning including:
- Mounting of LED signs and structural support to steel structure or wall anchors
- Wiring of each cabinet throughout the entire board. No electrical or work that would require voltage of any kind.
- Final sign-off and walkthrough with the customer
- Monitor and document project status and documentation through our project management software
- Track costs and expenses using expense reporting software.
Qualifications/ Requirements
- Must be mechanically orientated with ability to make independent decisions
- 5 years’ experience in basic construction or trade
- Ability to operate heavy equipment (telehandler, scissor lift, boom lift) and work at elevated heights
- A/V experience with commissioning audio systems is a plus
- OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain
- GED or High School Diploma
- Driver License, clean driving record and ability to obtain DOT medical card
- Must be able to lift 50lbs at a time, travel to job sites and work indoors & outdoors
- Basic computer skills
Schedule:
- Full-time position, M-F
- Travel three (3) weeks per month, with one (1) week working from home or Des Moines office
- Home on weekends except for rare occasions
Pay: $60,000 - $80,000.00 per year
