Essential Functions:

• Assist in creating and maintaining adequate controls over all aspects of Finance and Accounting
• Assists with AR and AP functions
• Prepare reoccurring as well as one-time journal entries
• Prepare and analyze financial data
• Prepare monthly fluctuation analysis for all overhead general ledger accounts
• Assist in creation and maintenance of overhead budget
• GL Account reconciliations
• Communicates and follows up with internal (PM’s, APM’s, PC’s) and external contacts to resolve questions, discrepancies, or disputes.
• Verify charges reported on invoices, material documents, time sheets, expense reports, etc. to proper project, general ledger, and budget accounts.
• Analyze and reconcile construction and maintenance contracts
• Assists with reviewing vendor statements and notices to ensure invoices are received, processed, and paid timely.
• Assists with accounting records and maintains organized records/files.
• Performs other duties as required to support Accounting Department and the larger organization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting degree preferred
• CPA license or eligibility to sit for CPA exam preferred

Skills and Requirements:

• Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
• High degree of attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Strong analytic abilities

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at a time.
