Inova Health System is hiring experienced Registered Nurses for all of our Progressive Care Telemetry Units. We will consider an experienced RN new to the specialty. Inova Alexandria Telemetry Unit is home to 36 beds. Patients admitted to Telemetry require cardiac monitoring and frequently have cardiac, renal, respiratory, and/or gastrointestinal disease processes. In order to care for these complex patients the staff works together as a team with a unified mission of quality and excellence.

Requirements:

• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting with telemetry experience.
• Education: BSN or ADN required. If RN has an ADN, must complete BSN within 24 months of state date.
• Licensure/Certification: BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required, RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN.
• Proficient in English.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others.
• Proficient computer skills required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $35.80 - $58.18 per hour
