INNOVIM is seeking a Systems Administrator to support the NISSC II contract. Your career at INNOVIM enables NISSC to fulfill its mission to “provide classified communications and processing for Command and Control (C2) capability in organizational work centers at NISSC sites.” As a member of our team, you will support corporate and customer missions to provide world-class IT services and support that connects systems and users across NORAD in the areas of software development/maintenance, network services, cyber security, systems administration, and other mission-critical areas.

JOB SUMMARY: 

***Shift work is required to support 24×7 operations. It is important to be available to work any shift/designated hours assigned, including nights, weekends, and holidays on a modified Panama schedule***

TheSystems Administratorimplements/maintains various technical systems and serves as an interface to the supported community users. Provides guidance, direction, and training to others in the group. Serves as a backup to lead computer systems administrator. Builds and/or debugs complicated hardware and software to correct difficult problems using technically advanced problem-solving skills. Develops and implements system documentation and operation procedures. Identifies and corrects processing anomalies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Installing operating system software, patches, and upgrades.
• Analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving system hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Configuring, optimizing, fine-tuning, and monitoring operating system software and hardware.
• Performing system backups, recovery, and server builds.
• Providing systems administrator support to systems hosting complex operational databases, software configuration control, and system interfaces for computer systems.
• Managing file servers and network access to include analyzing, troubleshooting, and documenting system anomalies.
• Performs and provides server, workstation, and system expertise.
• Coordinates and schedules system upgrades and maintenance.
• Performs and provides server and workstation expertise including on-site and off-site travel.
• Orders replacement of new hardware and software including warranty claims.
• Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have current DoD IAT Level II or higher (Security (CE)).
• Must have active Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
• 1 year of directly related experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems (OS) and associated hardware.
• Basic Windows System Administration experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Virtualization.
• Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies experience.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Basic knowledge of using a command line interface such as cisco, unix, linux, or windows.
• Cyber and Space Operations experience.
• VMware certification.
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment experience.
• Netapp technologies experience
