Description

Here is What Your day May Consist of:

• Intravenous catheter placement and venipuncture.
• Administer drugs (IV, SQ, Oral).
• Assists with radiographic procedures. 
• Perform diagnostic blood, urine, and fecal testing. 
• Provide care to hospitalized patients.
• Manage invoicing of patients.
• Client communication and education.
• Admitting and discharging patients. 

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

• At least one year of veterinary care experience.
• Compassionate, driven, mature, and team oriented. 
• Needs minimal direction and has the ability to multi-task, as well as an above average understanding of efficiency and time management. 
• A self-starter mentality and takes initiative to complete tasks on their own. 
• Someone that is willing to grow and adapt through challenges and changes while maintaining a positive and optimistic attitude. 
• Ability to administer medications IV, IM, SQ, Oral, etc. 
• Maintain appropriate medical records for all hospitalized and critical patients •
• Willingness to jump in when needed and assist co-workers and veterinarian in any/all medical care - both appointments and procedures. 
• Excellent customer service and communication skills towards clients, other staff members, DVM's and management.
