As a Residential caregiver in an Adult Family Home (AFH) program, you will be part of a 24/7 care team providing daily living support to clients with a range of disabilities in a 4-bed home.

We strive to help individuals in a small group living environment by meeting their individual goals.

Shifts Available:

1st – 7:00am-3:00pm

2nd – 3:00pm-11:00pm

3rd – 11:00pm-7:00am

Job Duties:

As a caregiver or personal care worker in an AFH, your role involves providing essential assistance to individuals with disabilities. You’ll plan and participate in leisure activities with clients, ensuring they have enjoyable experiences. Additionally, you’ll transport and accompany clients to activities.

Personal care tasks, such as bathing and toileting, are a part of a caregiver's everyday role. You’ll also contribute to grocery shopping, meal preparation, and handle cleaning and laundry duties. Administering prescribed medications and maintaining accurate documentation are crucial aspects of your responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years or older.
• For some positions, a valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience desired but not necessary – comprehensive paid training provided.
