Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our financial department by performing various accounting tasks and ensuring accuracy in financial records.
Duties:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements
- Conduct general ledger reconciliation
- Support with journal entries and account analysis
- Collaborate with the accounting team on various projects
- Utilize financial acumen to contribute to financial reporting
- Handle tasks related to debits, credits, and general ledger accounting
- Assist in compliance with accounting principals
- Utilize QuickBooks Online software for financial transactions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Previous experience in public accounting or related field is a plus
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles
- Ability to perform account analysis and reconcile discrepancies
- Familiarity with standard accounting principles
