Innovate Physical & Occupational Therapy PLLC is an outpatient orthopedic therapy private practice in Sugar Land, Texas. Our clinic differs then other ones since we have Certified Hand Therapy (Occupational Therapy). We are therapist owned and have a high commitment to serving the therapy needs of the Sugar Land and Missouri City area. We are looking for a front office/therapy technician who will work 15-25 hours a week. The position can grow to a full time position with benefits in time. We are looking for employees who do NOT want to work for a corporate model. Our company culture strives on working in a fun and welcoming environment but at the same time providing high quality care for patients. We go above and beyond for our clients. We are looking for a committed team member to check in patients, schedule patients, collect payments, set up treatment sessions, clean equipment, help patients perform supervised therapist exercises, and market (2 hours a week) to close by physician offices. This position also offers an opportunity to be mentored by multiple Physical and Occupational Therapists. Applicants can have little or no experience with therapy. We can train the employee in all faucets. It is helpful to be knowledgeable of some anatomy. We welcome college students with an interest in Physical or Occupational Therapy or have had some Kinesiology background.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients
• Verify health insurance patients
• Call and schedule new and existing patients
• Provide quality, personalized customer experience
• Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
• Promote clients’ healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
• Communicate progress towards Physical and Occupational Therapists
• market 2 hours a week to physician offices (will be trained)
• Clean therapy equipment
• Setup treatment sessions for patients and therapists
• Help patients perform supervised exercise by a Physical or Occupational Therapist

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
