Inland Metal Technologies is Hiring a Customer Account Manager Near Hayward, CA
Job Title: Customer Account Manager
Department: Customer Service
Reports To: Business Manager
ROLE:
You will be Inland’s first point of contact with its customers. You will spend most of your time updating customers with their orders’ status, entering POs, providing air traffic control type support for pull-in and push-out requests, and problem-solving missed commitments. You will work with your teammates and supervisor to ensure all customer needs are met. Your people skills, attention to detail, and dedication to unrelenting customer service will be the key to forming strong relationships that keep customers coming back.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manning the frontlines of customer service
- Data entry of customer requirements into ERP including POs, RFQ, and customer portal changes.
- Work with all departments within the company to ensure we meet customer requirements
- Always know our performance in the eyes of our customers
- Work with the team to problem-solve issues
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Strong teamwork, communication, and people skills
- Good Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Must be good at customer service and all that that entails
- 2 years’ experience in equivalent or similar position
- Proficient working within ERP systems
