Donor Relations Manager

Hybrid position at Headquarter (HQ) in Rockville, MD and Remote

Starting $80K

The Manager of Donor Relations & Operations provides executive level support to the President & CEO and the Westminster Ingleside Foundation (WIF) Board of Directors. The manager will steward donors from gift, to recognition, ensuring an outstanding donor-centered experience. The manager will lead the back-office operations, database management, and coordinate with the WIF team, and Ingleside Finance office.

Essential Duties:

Executive Functions

Provides support to the President & CEO of WIF.

Prepare materials, communicate with leadership, and take minutes for Foundation Board and Executive Committee Meetings.

Works collegially with Ingleside Headquarters administrative staff aiding when working at HQ.

Produce executive dashboard and reports to track goals and budget status.

Responsible for the annual Charitable Organization Registration renewals, and online updates for matching gift programs such as IBM, Ren-giving, etc.

Database Management

Receive and record all gifts to Westminster Ingleside Foundation. Prepares deposits and all reports necessary to complete proper accounting and monthly reconciliation with Ingleside Finance.

Prepares accurate foundation giving reports, contact reports, campaign support, etc. as needed by Foundation team.

Maintains accurate and current donor records - reviews resident lists for address changes/deceased information/new residents.

Design and produce custom reports and remain up to date on database standards.

Assists in the production of Foundation mailings including annual appeals, special events, and newsletters.

Donor Relations

Serves as expert on planned giving software PG Calc, producing reports and gift agreements as needed. Compiles all necessary documents for Ingleside Finance, Foundation, PGCalc and donor(s). Provide PGCalc with annuitant address updates, deceased information and reviews annuitant list prior to PGCalc distribution of annual 1099s.

Work with the WIF team to acknowledge all gifts to Westminster Ingleside Foundation with production of personalized letters.

Facilitates Foundation donor recognition events including the production of mailings, recognition program, and event details.

Produces Annual Report in conjunction with the Foundation and Marking teams.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree is required.

Experience working with non-profit Boards preferred

3-5 years' experience with philanthropy systems, bookkeeping, spreadsheets, and databases.

Additional office experience working with a small team, software skills, including experience with Blackbaud Raisers Edge, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, project, electronic mail, and internet search engines.

Excellent customer service skills including a demonstrated track record of follow through and personalized response and resolution of issues.

Highly detailed oriented with emphasis on accuracy of data entry and analysis.

Ability to work independently as well as a team member.

Knowledge Base:

Work Environment

Works remotely 2 to 3 days a week. Schedule needs to be flexible.

Office - Ingleside HQ as well as occasional events at MD, DC and VA locations.
