The Opportunity

The Associate Director, Investor Relations supports and participates in all aspects of IR activities, including conducting investor-focused analyses, supporting investor messaging, and executing investor events. This individual will remain current on economic, political, regulatory, industry, and stock market outlook, and understands in-depth the company’s leaders, strategies, technologies, and financial performance expectations as well as changes in accounting, the life sciences/biotechnology industry, securities laws, and similar subjects. 

What You'll Be Doing

• Be the primary point of contact for our external Investor Relations firm and work with them directly to support day-to-day investor interactions by responding to investor inquiries and logging interactions with investors.
• Support IR strategy and message development and execution.
• Work closely with CEO and executive team to maintain and build relationships with key stakeholders.
• Partner with Corporate Communications, finance and legal teams to manage the quarterly earnings process and conference call logistics.
• Track and maintain sell side analyst consensus estimates, ratings, & reports and maintain consensus model. Interact with the analyst community to provide relevant data & investor guidance.
• Work with Finance team and FP&A to build integrated models that compare internal Corporate LROP projects to external analyst & investment community projections.
• Monitor and distribute peer group sell-side research; follow industry, competitor and customer developments and news flow, including earnings calls and analyst days, and communicate key takeaways to management.
• Work with external investor relations firm to coordinate and manage bank conference and Non-Deal Road Show calendar and Executive Team participation.
• Develop an IR calendar and budget.
• Oversee IR service providers and manage exchange relationship
• Provide and maintain up to date IR website content
• Ability to travel ~30%

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA preferred.
• At least 5-7 years of corporate IR experience, including experience in biopharma
• Strategic thinker who can develop the messaging as our story evolves or in response to external sentiment.
• Strong Relationships with both the Buy-side and Sell-side
• Detail-oriented with exceptional business writing and editing skills.
• Possess excellent written communication skills, can generate clear, accurate, and compelling investor materials, and can deliver our messages in an engaging manner.
• Knowledge of SEC and disclosure requirements.
