Summary of Duties:
Drive residents to appointed destinations as outlined in Ingleside at King Farm's regular transportation schedule
Drive with caution and in a safe manner to ensure the safety of passengers at all times.
Assume responsibility for the maintenance, upkeep, and clean appearance (interior and exterior) of the community's vehicle(s) at all times.
EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of proper safety techniques applicable to self and others.
Demonstrate an interest in working with a senior population.
Maturity, creativity, and ability to identify and solve problems.
Demonstrate a warm, outgoing personality.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to operate a car/truck.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with staff, residents, family members' visitors, government agencies/staff, and the general community.
Must attend and participate in continuing educational programs.
