Ingios Geotechnics, Inc. (Ingios) is seeking qualified applicants for 3 full-time Civil Engineering Technician positions. One position is based in Iowa, one in Minnesota, and one in Tennessee.
Ingios Geotechnics is an industry leading geoconstruction engineering firm specializing in the characterization, testing, and construction process control of geo-materials using advanced proprietary testing equipment. Clients include state departments of transportation, private industrial firms, geomaterial manufacturers, and the electrical power generation industry.
Position Title
Civil Engineering Technician I
Hourly Pay
$26 to $30 (depending on qualifications)
Pay Frequency
Monthly
Work Schedule
Normally 40 hours per week but will vary involving longer workdays at times to meet customer requirements. The applicant must be able to travel and work irregular hours if needed. Overnight travel will be required.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities
This position provides laboratory and/or field technical support for testing geomaterials. The technician will be responsible for the execution of testing plans in accordance with required testing procedures as defined by ASTM and AASHTO standards. Accurate execution and reporting of test results is critical to meeting the customer's requirements. The technician will be responsible for use and maintenance of electronically controlled testing equipment requiring basic computer proficiency. Operation of straight truck and trailer, forklift, and other similar equipment is required to support testing requirements.
Special Qualifications
Required Qualifications
One year of related Laboratory experience or any combination of related experience and/or undergraduate courses in physical or natural sciences that is equivalent to one year of full-time employment.
