Actalent is Seeking a Geotechnical Engineer

Description:

• Duties include preparing proposals, conducting and reviewing construction field observation activities, and reviewing materials tests and reports.
• Create soil logs from field logs and samples and put into a typed document/ form
• Available to work in the field or in office depending on preference of work.
• Utilize log drafts/ MS Office
• Will work on 3-4 projects at a time
• Will draft together reports and send to Sr. Engineer to review before sending to client.
• Will partner with Architects, Owners, and Engineers

Skills:

• Geotechnical engineering, Civil engineering, Geotechnical, eit
• Bachelors in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering, able to obtain PE at this position
• New graduates are encouraged to apply, if willing to learn and partner with geotechnical team
• MS Office
• EIT preferred
