Ingeteam is Hiring an IT Administrator Near Milwaukee, WI

Maintains the enterprise infrastructure including hardware, software and systems, communications and audio visual systems as required for operations at Ingeteam Inc. Works with Corporate IT and local 3rd Party IT Ensures that software and systems meet overall company goals. Determines, recommends and purchases hardware, software, and communication devices. Ensures that local IT policies are aligned with global policies. Establishes and implements network and security policies and procedures.

Responsibilities, Functions, and Tasks

  • Manages 3rd party helpdesk partner
  • Review 3rd Party monthly reports and implement Continuous Improvement projects with this provider.
  • Responsible for creating and managing yearly Information Systems budget.
  • Implements and documents policies and procedures for PC and network operations. The policies and procedures should combine with Ingeteam´s IT global to provide the optimal level of functionality, security, consistency, and efficiency possible with these core systems.
  • Order software licenses and when is allowed, manage the vendor relationships.
  • Order computers and work with 3rd party to have them available as needed.
  • Responsible for the communications infrastructure (cell, landline, instant messaging and e-mail) and the audio-visual systems.
  • Keeps abreast of current technologies and proposes future direction and improvements with Ingeteam´s IT Global, for the network and PC infrastructure to support future company operations.
  • Documents and monitors license compliance of systems.
  • Work with users to identify needs and investigate with corporate or when is necessary, with 3rd party provider appropriate solutions
  • Assists users with questions and problems regarding PC and network hardware, software, cell phones and procedures.
  • Manages security systems including security cameras and badge access systems.
  • Manage cell phone providers, optimizing costs and setting up or transferring user cell phones
  • Provide customer service to employees on their IT needs.
  • Coordinates locally with IT partner companies for larger projects or more specialized work.
  • Trains users on programs and system implementations when is necessary.
  • Manage copier contracts and vendor relationship.
  • Provides emergency support for production critical systems. Provides support and problem resolution as required.
  • Ensure tasks are performed according to organizational requirements for quality management and environmental, health and safety standards, policies and procedures.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.
  • Constant feedback on local activities with international IT management
  • Monitoring, opening and executing local and international tickets, when necessary, on Ingeteam’ s global ticketing platform

Work Experience Requirements (Skills, competences, expertise, etc.)

· Must have proven experience as an IT Administrator or similar role;

· Effective oral and written communications and customer service skills are essential. The ability to work with frequent, varying deadlines is required. Organizational and analytical skills are required. Strong documentation skills are essential.

· Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft products and systems skills is necessary.

· Excellent trouble shooting skills demonstrated through technical experience required.

· Knowledge of the EDR-Cortex system, communication and VPNs, VOIP, office 365 are requirements.

· Working experience of technical software (AutoCAD, Solid Edge, etc.), and scripts is a plus.

· Experience with SAP/ ERP systems preferred.

· Knowledge and conversation/write in Spanish is a important plus.

Academic Requirements

  • Bachelors or Associate degree in Information Technology, computer science or other related field required. Must have five plus years of experience preferably in a manufacturing company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
