How you'll be impactful:
The role will require you to be analytical and strategic while delivering on business goals. You will own product KPIs and obsessively improve the experience for our customers and metrics for our company. You will work closely with Design, Engineering, and Community teams to assist in the development of an ecommerce roadmap and build features that delight our consumers and advisors. You will make a significant impact on our business while having fun doing so.
This role will be required to be in our San Francisco office 2x/week (Tuesdays & Wednesdays).
What you'll be doing:
- Assist other PMs in leading, organizing, and communicating vision, actions and results
- Work with our design, research, engineering, and data teams to assist with developing product roadmaps that improve our product and ensure it is meeting the needs of our customers
- Work on business case development to improve areas of major product investment
- Identify and prioritize gaps in how our product currently serves those customer needs by conducting discovery which includes interviews and surveys
- Develop competitive analyses with a focus on value and feature differentiation
- Run and monitor experiments which measure the impact of our work over time
What you'll need to be successful:
- BA/BS is required in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Economics or related
- 2 years experience in Product Management for consumer-facing products and ecommerce
- A/B testing/conversion rate optimization experience
- Experience developing web and/or mobile consumer facing apps and online marketplaces
- Highly analytical, creative, good with numbers, results-driven, entrepreneurial, quick learner
- Excellent eye for end-to-end product experience
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
- Team player who can drive execution by working cross-functionally with analytics, marketing, design, and engineering.
- Knowledge of Agile Methodology and strong project management skill
- Past experience with MixPanel, Optimizely and Tableau or similar tools
