Position Summary:

As a Traffic/Transportation Engineering Intern at ICE, you'll be immersed in real-world projects, working side by side with our esteemed Traffic Team. Your main goal? To help create innovative designs and ensure the seamless development and delivery of traffic control plans, signing/pavement markings, and traffic signal plans. Your contributions will be invaluable as we tackle various highway and roadway projects, making a real impact on transportation systems.

Desired Traits:

We're looking for ambitious individuals who are currently enrolled as academic juniors or seniors in an accredited college degree program focused on Civil Engineering or a related discipline. If you're a proactive go-getter with exceptional communication and organizational skills, we want you on our team! Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail are key as you assist in preparing final design documents and collaborate with team members, clients, and contractors.

What sets you apart? We value diverse perspectives and welcome candidates from all walks of life. While prior internship experience is a plus, it's not a requirement. Familiarity with Synchro, VISSIM, HCS, AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bentley Software will give you a head start, but we're excited to see your resourcefulness and research skills in action!
