Job Description:

The ERP Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Spectrum ERP system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both the construction and utility industries. The ERP specialist will support the fleet, accounting, and HR departments by being the Spectrum subject matter expert on best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the Spectrum ERP system.
• Collaborate with various departments to customize the ERP system to their needs.
• Serve as the data steward for financial, fleet, and HR data stored in ERP.
• Provide training and support to staff on ERP system best practices.
• Lead testing of new software versions and troubleshoot ERP system issues.
• Stay updated with the latest ERP system trends and best practices.
• Create workflows, write custom reports, and implement new ERP modules.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Construction Management, Accounting, or a related field.
• Exposure to reporting tools such as Crystal Reports and Power BI.
• Experience as an ERP Specialist, specializing in Spectrum ERP.
• Knowledge of the Spectrum ERP database structure and SQL.
• Understanding of database structures, principles, and best practices.
• Experience writing custom reports and creating automated workflows.
• Knowledge of accounting processes within Spectrum and financial processes.
• Experience with Birddog (Arcoro) and iCIMS integration with Spectrum ERP preferred.
• Ability to set up Spectrum security roles to satisfy SOX security requirements.
• Working knowledge of Spectrum Data Exchange (SDX).
• JD Edwards ERP knowledge and experience a plus.
• Experience in the construction industry required, utility industry preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of 3rd party systems that integrate into the ERPs (such as bank pay systems, AP/AR products, data management tools (ETL).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and learn new 3rd party packages.
