Infrahire is Hiring a Structural Design Engineer Near Bedford, IN
Prepare 3D CAD models for designer and detailer work, in some cases complete the detail work.
Work with component suppliers to determine all specifications to integrate into structural designs.
Work with AMI Purchasing to procure material in a timely manner.
Work with end customers to insure specification clarity.
Work with AMI manufacturing in all stages of the fabrication process (raw material requirements, material cutting and processing, welding, and assembly) to deliver design for manufacturability designs.
QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
3D CAD Experience (Autodesk Inventor Preferred)Experience in designing structural steel components.
One To Five Years Of Design Experience (preferred)Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, etc)
