Job Title: Tax Consultant

Job Summary:
A Tax Consultant at OneSource Tax is responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on various tax-related matters. They work closely with individuals, businesses, and organizations to ensure compliance with tax laws while minimizing tax liabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough reviews of clients' financial records, including income statements, balance sheets, and other relevant documents.
• Advise clients on tax planning strategies to minimize their tax liabilities while maximizing deductions and credits.
• Prepare and file tax returns for individuals, businesses, trusts, and other entities.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate potential impacts to clients.
• Assist clients in responding to tax notices and audits from tax authorities.
• Provide guidance on tax implications of business decisions, such as mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring.
• Offer advice on estate planning, retirement planning, and other financial matters from a tax perspective.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service.
• Collaborate with other professionals, such as accountants, lawyers, and financial advisors, to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.
• Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is preferred.
• Prior experience in tax consulting or a similar role, preferably in a public accounting firm or tax consulting firm.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and other relevant tools.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $79,931.33 - $96,261.38 per year
