Assembly and Test Technician (2nd shift)

We are pleased to recruit for a company whose corporate purpose is to create chemistry for a sustainable future and has been doing so for 150 years. Their portfolio ranges from chemicals, plastics, performance products and crop protection products to oil and gas. Their products and solutions contribute to conserving resources, ensuring nutrition and improving quality of life. Our client is expanding and seeking an Assembly and Test Technician in Torrance, CA.

Responsibilities:

· Performs precision assembly on complex production and repair actuators.

· Adjusts or aligns through shimming and other means of mechanical adjustments specified by blueprint or other specification limits.

· Utilizes a variety of mechanical measuring equipment such as: Dial Indicators, calipers & indicators to obtain proper assembly - build requirements.

· Maintain dimensional accuracy on assemblies utilizing torque wrenches, fixtures, tooling, gages and other measuring devices.

· Required to work from assembly instructions, both written and oral.

Requirements:

· 2 years Assembly/Testing experience

· Manufacturing/production

Must have a valid driver’s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property

Education: High School Diploma

Location: Torrance, CA 90501

Pay Rate: The pay range for this position is $21.00 – 22.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.

Work Schedule : 2nd Shift; 2:30p – 11p

Length of Assignment: Contract - hire
