Description

InfoReady produces software used by over 200 colleges and universities across the United States and
around the world.

Institutions use our software for managing different kinds of selection processes - like deciding which
faculty get grants, which grad students get fellowships, or which students get recognition awards, etc.
InfoReady is used to manage a myriad of processes.

We are a fast-growing startup with about 35 employees.

The company seeks an experienced, driven professional, with natural sales instincts to join our
organization in an inside sales position as a Campus Outreach Team Lead.

This is a player-coach position for leading efforts on expansion prospecting to existing clients.
Accordingly, the individual will both:

  • Reach out to potential new users at our existing university clients - to chat with them about
ways that they can use our software too.
  • Coach the rest of the Campus Outreach Team on best practices to do the same.
  • Apply sales ops expertise to improve processes and use of sales tools.

The ideal candidate should be eager to advance in our organization by demonstrating the ability to be a
self-starter every day.

Outreach Responsibilities

  • Evangelize InfoReady and technology available across institutions of higher education
  • Broaden our relationships with our most strategic accounts; assist our account managers
  • Research and contact possible new users at our existing accounts (i.e. adding contacts, sending
emails, strategic calling, demonstrating our product)
  • Conduct meaningful conversations with researched prospects
  • Achieve monthly quotas of qualified opportunities

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Utilize the best practices of the software industry for managing SDR’s/BDR’s and sales
operations, applying these practices to maximize the performance of the Campus Outreach
Team
  • Manage junior-level Campus Outreach Coordinators (i.e. BDRs)
  • Teach Campus Outreach Coordinator the fundamentals of inside sales

Qualifications

  • Experience leading a team of SDR’s or BDR’s at a software company is highly preferred,
especially experience selling information technology to universities
  • At least two years of inside sales prospecting experience, with Higher Ed or Enterprise Software
prospecting experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Degree in sales, marketing, or general business is preferred
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Motivation, drive and a self-starting attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast paced, fluid environment
  • Outgoing personality and likes to have fun!
